Post with 1 note
What is fear? Truly we believe that it is the things we are scared of wrapped into a word. The truth is, I myself could not find the best way to describe fear. Maybe some are afraid to be afraid. Some believe that fear brings weakness, I believe that fear is what give us strength to accomplish things we never thought we could. I believe it helps us do those things that we are most afraid of. Life is all about over coming challenges and standing tall when life decides to throw a curve ball at you. That is when you discover how strong you real are.
When you are afraid to take something or someone head on.
When you are afraid to express your feelings to a loved one, afraid that the other person might not feel the same way.
When you are afraid to let your emotions run free.
The fear of disappointing those who counted on you.
….The fear to achieve your goals and become the best you can be because of the thought that you might actually become great.
Change, change it’s self is feared.
For most of us overcoming this fear is a great challenge, but when we do over come them, we realize that the only thing we feared was fear itself. Others will choose to not overcome these challenges and live in fear…the fear of wondering what if?
It’s okay to be afraid, overcoming that fear is what makes us stronger, not weaker. Do not be afraid to be afraid it’s only natural, but should you choose to let that fear take over you, that is what makes you weak…do not let the fear take over you. It is but a thought, an emotion that you control, take that risk, after all risks are meant to be taken and fear is meant to be fought.
“What I’ve done is who I am, But what I’ve done is not who i will be.”
What is our purpose in this world? What are we suppose to live for? Is our purpose to live a meaningless life as most of us do? We last most of our lives making mistakes and living with regrets, but its as if even if we learn from those mistakes, new ones make their way to us and lesson after lesson we begin to notice the little time we have left and then we are gone. Do we live just to take up space? To furfill our duties as a mail man or buisness man or a cashier or a bartender, or are we here for a much greater purpose? To save a life or guide some one who will be of great importance later on; am I that person? All of these questions I have and I spend valuable minutes in my meaningless life, but that’s the beauty of it. Asking these questions has given me a purpose… to find the answer while living my life to the best of my ability so that when I am asked these questions, I will guide a person with much purpose in life.
